Eric, a highly popular poster artist in the 1950’ and 60’s, began his career as an industrial designer. It was not until WWII that his career as a posterist took off.
Eric’s clean designs bold bright colors reflect the modern post-war era. Many of his posters are for products which emerged during this period such as Continental Edison television, Bendix kitchen appliances, the Tornado vacuum cleaner, and the high speed Turbo Trains. Eric is also extremely well known for his posters advertising the Emprunt Acier.
